Keto friendly, gluten free, and low carb.
This soup is one of my all time favorites. This time of year is perfect soup weather too.
This soup is quick and easy and only a few delicious ingredients.
Start with a creamy base. The cream and butter give it the perfect thickness. There is no need to add flour or a thickener in this soup.
Let the cream and butter simmer together. Then add the bone broth, this is the most savory and delicious part. The bone broth gives it great flavor and a smooth texture.
I love this brand of bone broth. You can find it in the frozen section at Walmart.
Besides flavor bone broth has so many fantastic benefits. (Check out some tips here)
Chop the broccoli up small, bite sized pieces. This helps it cook quicker.
Pre-shredded cheese is not strictly keto, but it melts better, and also helps thicken the soup too.
This Cajun seasoning is my favorite. It is a must in this soup. It gives it great flavor and a tiny kick.
Add the cheese on medium heat and stir constantly, so it doesn’t burn to the bottom, and so it stays a nice smooth consistency.
Add the broccoli, and let it simmer on low for 20 minutes. The broccoli will be cooked and all the spices will blend perfectly.
It’s time to serve up this delicious meal. Enjoy!
