Cabbage, sausage, garlic and onions. This is simple and a classic combination of flavors. It comes together really quick too.

Take a whole cabbage, cut in half and then cut into quarters. Then coarsely chop each quarter.

Once the cabbage is all chopped, add to your cast iron skillet, on medium high heat, and 2 tablespoons of butter.
Add one whole chopped yellow onion, and some chopped garlic. I like to leave the garlic in bigger pieces for more flavor.

Slice kielbasa sausage into about 1/4 inch slices, and sauté in another pan, until the edges are crispy. I like to do it separate at first to make the sausage crisp up nicely.

Once the sausage is crispy on the edges, add it to the am cabbage with some Cajun seasoning. I like the heat and spice from this seasoning. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, and serve! Enjoy.
